The current game is being developed as a first-person desktop game in Godot. This website showcases the game; it doesn't run the game in your browser.
That's where it starts. You'll build pumps, research equipment, automate production, manage local power and transport, and expand your factory. Your machines do more of the work as your ambitions grow.
Unexpected finds, lost objects, and things left behind on the seabed. There are treasures to collect and mysterious catches to clean. Somewhere in all that water is the key you're looking for.
Both games build around finding one tiny object through an enormous task. Unplug the Ocean adds an ocean-draining factory: pumps, production, power networks, and a shoreline that changes as you work. Our guide to games like Needle In A Haystack Simulator explains the shared appeal and the differences.
It combines both. The incremental loop takes you from hand scoops to stronger equipment. The factory-building loop asks you to connect machines, produce resources, and keep local power and transport working. All of that serves one search: find your lost shed key.
